Traumatic Brain Injury – Slip & Fall Related Injury - Epidemiologist, 38 years old

Our client suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) when she tripped and fell down a flight of stairs while exiting her apartment building. As a result of the TBI, she suffered from severe cognitive difficulties, memory loss, inability to concentrate, insomnia, depression and anxiety, and was totally disabled. Disability Determination Services (DDS) determined that she had the ability to perform light duty unskilled work and her claim was denied at the original claim and reconsideration levels.
